    Due to an AWS STS outage in the US region, checkmk sites cannot be created in the US and email notifications from the US region are not being forwarded. We are keeping a close watch on any AWS updates on the issue.

    What: we are upgrading our Admin Panel Email Gateway

    Downtime: no downtime for our existing service

    Impact: Everything will continue to work as usual except for email confirmation for new account sign-ups or password resets. During the maintenance window, new users will not be able to receive the activation code needed to complete registration or the password reset email.
